Would a Couple work best for you?
Quite often families find that a couple (usually male/female) meet their requirements far more than an Au Pair. This may suit families with busy households that feel they could benefit from extra assistance with all aspects of the home.
An Au Pair Couple will generally work 5 hours a day - 25 hours per week each. Whilst one helps with childcare or general house keeping duties the other may help with driving, odd jobs, garden duties and household maintenance.
Your duties as a host family
Au Pair couples require their own room and full board plus 2 full days free with additional time for studies and will earn around £65.00 per week each. They also have the opportunity to attend a language course. These are generally available at the local college although there may be specific language schools in your area. Au Pairs should be treated as a member of the family.
