Mothers Helps

Mothers Helps usually work around 40 hours per week and would be paid around according to age and experience. Tax and other deductions may be necessary depending on remuneration. Applicants are usually older and do not require free time to study like an au pair. They would expect to have at lease one full day and one half day free each week. Their duties include care of the children and household chores.

A Mothers Help may be considered for the following:

Mature/elderly person happy to live independently but requiring some companionship or extra assistance with the chores or simple cooking

Families looking for more than a regular Au Pair – extra household chores including washing, ironing, making and changing beds etc. Light cooking and food preparation, running errands and food shopping.
